Globally, commencement of HIV/AIDS has created barrier on the way of this TB control programme. म अरुण !
बगेर यहाँ आइपुग्दा
सती जानेको होड देखेर
आफै अल्मलिएँ !
सर्वाङ्ग भइ सबै
आँखा चिम्लेर उफ्रन्छन्
एकअर्कालाई तान्छन् ठेल्छन्
मलामीहरू !
डम्फू आआफ्नो छ
ताल, सुर अलग छ
झन्डा, डन्डाका छाल उर्लेको छ
सतीढुङ्गामा चढ्न उक्साउँदै छन् मलामी
उत्सर्गका लागि पालो पर्खदै छन् मान्छे
चीत्कार थिच्दै जयजयकार उर्लेको छ ज्वालामा
म अरुण एकछिन रोकिएको छु !
सरगम नमिलेर
घरीघरी अल्मलिन्छन् मलामी
कहिले हेर्छन खरानी बग्ने खोलातिर
हेर्छन् कहिले धूवाँ उड्ने आकासतिर
बग्दाबग्दै रोकिएर रमिता हेर्दैछु म !
सती जाने र मलामीको हुल देखेर
मर्नु बाँच्नुको दोसाँधमा
बग्नु नबग्नुको दोधारमा छु
मान्छे उचाल्नु धकेल्नुको अर्थ नबुझेर
अहिले म अल्मलिएको छु
दोभान नभेटेर दोधारमा
आज अचानक
सतीढुङ्गानेर ठोक्किएको छु
