Lyricist Nawaraj Subba’s third music album Lukeko Rahar was released on December 15. The album has nine ghazals composed by Subba that have been sung by popular singers like Jagadish Samal, Shishir Yogi, Anju Panta, Swaroop Raj Acharya, Narendra Pyasi, Mandabi Tripathi, Suresh Manandhar and Bhim Chapagain. “While some of my ghazals are dedicated on a the elderly population, a others are about love,”  Subba said. Musician Shakti Ballav has given music to all the nine songs in this album. Legendary poet and lyricist Ratna Shumsher Thapa, who launched the album said, “Every other individual is developing a habit of penning ghazals without having any idea about ghazals. In this context, Subba’s works showcase he has a profound idea of ghazals. His work is of really good quality.” -HNS
